Guide to Key ISUP Features
Jun 13th 2023
Unlock the full potential of your paddle board by utilizing its features in the most effective way.
Here's a guide to help you make the most of each feature:
Bungees: These are used to secure your gear in place while you explore. Some of our boards have 4-point bungees while some have 8-points which allow for more gear to be stored on your trip.
D-rings: They serve as attachment points for various accessories and equipment. The D-ring is where you attach the leash, seats or foam rollers. They are also great to attach coolers or other packs.
Fins: Fins play a crucial role in tracking and maneuverability. Some iSUPs feature a removable center fin, which helps maintain straight-line paddling and stability in choppy conditions. Some boards may also have side fins or multiple fin configurations for enhanced maneuverability and performance.
Seats: Removable seats offer added comfort and support during extended paddling sessions. They are available for both single and double-person SUPs (Stand-Up Paddle Boards). The seats can be easily attached or removed according to your preference.
Water bottle holder and handle: Certain boards, like the Body Glove and Nautica boards, feature a center handle that serves as a convenient carrying option for both the board and paddle. These handles are designed to securely hold the paddle or your water bottle, making it effortless to transport your board and paddle together and keep your bottle secured.
Ankle Leash: The leash keeps you connected to your board, preventing it from drifting away in case you fall into the water.
Camera Mount: Add a whole new level of fun and adventure to your water excursions. It allows you to capture memorable moments, stunning scenery and even share your paddle boarding experiences with others. We would love to see the adventure as well! Tag us at @paddlersoutlet.
Angler Accessory Plate: It provides a dedicated attachment point for various fishing accessories and gear. With an angler accessory plate, you can easily attach fishing rods, rod holders, fish finders, tackle boxes and other equipment essential for your fishing excursions.
