What exactly is Certified Pre-Owned?

Want to hit the water, but not your wallet? Buying used is a great way to get a high quality board at an affordable price.

Our Certified Pre-Owned boards may be open-box returns, demos or gently used. They may have some cosmetic defects, blemishes or show signs of light wear and tear. We cannot guarantee the aesthetic condition of the board or accessories you receive, but we warrant them to be free of defects that affect their performance and function.

 

How can I feel confident about buying a used board online?

All boards are inspected by hand and air checked for 24 hours before being repackaged with all accessories included. We warrant our boards to be free of functional defects for 30 days and offer support post-purchase to answer any questions.

 

How is Open-Box different than Certified Pre-Owned? 

Our Open-Box products are just that – the packaging has been opened, but the product is unused. The product was purchased and returned because the buyer changed their mind. They didn't like the color, decided it was too expensive or an equally trivial reason. Completely new, unused item for a nice discount. Depending on the condition of the original packaging we receive, the product may be repackaged in a brown cardboard box. 

 

Warranty

Paddlers Outlet has a 6-month warranty against manufacturer's defects from the date of purchase. Sales receipt required in order to receive warranty benefits.

 

Shipping and Processing

Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday. Please allow up to three business days for orders to be processed. All of our products include free ground shipping throughout the continental US. If you are interested in expedited shipping, please reach out to info@paddlersoutlet.com prior to placing an order.

 

Returns

If you're looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer returns within 30 days of purchase. You can return your product for a refund to the original payment method.

After you've submitted a return request to info@paddlersoutlet.com we will send you a PDF of a return shipping label. Please print it out and affix to your package. You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We will deduct the cost of return shipping from your refund. 

 

Why is the price online higher than the price I saw at a boat show?

Often times we offer an additional discount at boat shows. The limited time promotional pricing is available for boat show attendees for the duration of the event.

 

Do you have a physical location / offer local pickup?

As a direct-to-consumer company, we're able to offer discounts up to 75% off retail. While we do not have a physical location, we regularly attend boat shows throughout the US. Orders ship out of our warehouse in Fort Myers, FL.
